Mercedes-Benz E 63 AMG lands in Australia

Mercedes-Benz is fast-tracking its eagerly anticipated E 63 AMG sedan to Australia following its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

Australia has exclusively been able to stipulate a specification to suit our requirements with our E 63 AMG’s fitted as standard with rear boot lip spoiler, sun protection pack and 19-inch alloy wheels – all of which are usually on the options list.

The E 63 AMG is powered by a 6.3-litre V8 engine which develops 386kW of power with a maximum torque figure of 630Nm.

Coupled to an AMG Speedshift MCT seven-speed sports transmission the E 63 AMG does standstill to 100km/h in 4.5 seconds. Top speed is electronically limited to 250km/h.

Riding on AMG Ride Control sports suspension the E 63 AMG offers three driver selectable settings – Comfort, Sport and Sport Plus – at the touch of a button.

The Mercedes-Benz E 63 AMG will be in showrooms from November and is priced from $234,900 (RRP).
